Being asked to be in a wedding means something. The wedding party is filled with the closest friends and family and their role is to not only act as witnesses to the marriage vow, but to provide support for the couple- for the rest of their lives.

It's not about a cake. It's not about the music. It's not about the dinner, tuxedo, or flowers.

It's about them- the couple getting married- supporting their decision to come together for the rest of their lives, to build a family, to love one another in matrimony through the beauty of sharing a life and through every storm.

It is not about a dress.

Save your money for another time, another dress, a shopping spree. Get in touch with why you have been asked to be in this wedding. Think about it. Give them your wholehearted support.
